Come early or plan to stay after your tour, the Hugh Torance House and Store is open every Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm, with this guided living history tour beginning a 2:00pm and lasting about one hour. Following the tour, a traditional craft demonstration will take place and guests may participate in the making of their own traditional craft to take home!
In addition to experiencing the history of the site, the Store offers locally made goods like honey and artisan crafts ad well as books, gifts, and more! The site is also adjacent to another amazing historical property, Cedar Grove, the National Register brick 1831 Greek Revival home of James Torance, son of Hugh and Isabella Torance.
