About the event
Join us to dig deeper into the historic Irish roots of Hugh Torance and those before him who settled in this region. Traditional Irish music by Shamrocks in the Wind, and Irish dance by the Connick-Reid Academy of Irish Dance. Featured speakers include Michael Jeffcoat, Michael Connor, and Meredith Connelly. In addition, Connelly’s “Snails” will be on exhibit in Cedar Grove. We hope you can join us for this free community event pairing local, historic Irish connections with music, dance, and art. Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 at Huntersville’s historic Cedar Grove adjacent to the Hugh Torance House and Store. Tickets required due to limited seating.
